Grades 4 & 5 Research Papers

Why do these 4^th and 5^th graders look so happy????

Could it be the fact that they just finished a seven week research paper?

After weeks of note taking, source documenting, making title pages, making a rough draft, editing, and putting it all together ready to hand in, these students feel that they worked hard and deserve a break.

Students were able to pick their own topic, narrow it down through pre-writing activities such as outlining and webs.

Many varied topics were explored ranging from quarter horses to Quasars.

4^th and 5^th grade students need to be proud of their execution of the writing process and coming up with these wonderful projects.
