On Thursday, May 9th we had our last Middle school sports award dinner . We
honored our Middle school boys basketball team, cheer and volleyball. We had a
great turn out of parents and students. Lots of awards were given. Great job
coaches!!
I will be attending our last 1A region AD meeting on Thursday, May 16th for high
school and Monday, May 27th for the I40 league to finalize schedules and other
information for next school year. We have a new 1A region chair, Dan Hutchins
from Joseph City.
Next year I requested that Seligman school join a co-op with Ash Fork for high
school soccer, for our boys who want to play soccer next year. I contacted the
AIA and Ash Fork they agreed and approved it. We will need to do an IGA. with
Ash Fork and then approve it with the school board.
We have a few activities planned for this summer. We are hosting a summer
soccer camp.
At present we have students coming to “open gym” for basketball. It’s a mixture
of boys and girls. The boys have been invited to attend a summer basketball
tournament in Camp Verde on May 31-June 1st.
Coach Fraser and I are trying to get a volleyball camp here at Seligman school in
July hosted by NAU.
There are several coaching positions that are opened for next school year.:
High school volleyball assistant
High school girls basketball coach/assistant
Middle school girls basketball coach/assistant
This year was a great sports season for all of our students who participated.

REMINDER-Open Enrollment Parents,
If you haven’t done so already, open enrollment students must submit an application every year even if your student(s) already attend Seligman Schools. Feel free to come into the office and collect an application or applications are listed at the top of the Home page. You will click on "Currently Enrolled Students". Please fill out the application and return to Ashley in the District Office or email the application to her. Her email is listed on the application paper. Please do so ASAP if you plan on your child(ren) returning. All applications will be reviewed and you will receive a letter in the mail with the status of your application. Thank you!

It's that time of the year to clean out your athletic locker and turn in your uniform (s) or any sport items you may have before the end of the school year or you will be charged for it. Thank you Mrs Curley

Our kids or boys have an opportunity to play in a summer basketball league the month of June. The coaches are finding out who is interested in playing ..Kingman high School is sponsoring it .

The baseball season has come to an end. THe Ash Fork /Seligman team were defeated on Saturday at the first round of state playoffs vs Bagdad. Good Effort ANTELOPES!!

The Middle school girls volleyball team was victorious on Saturday, The A team defeated Parks and the B team won both of their B games. The girls had intense volleys and played excellent volleyball. YOU GIRLS ROCK!!
On Friday(April 26th) the A team travels to Grand Canyon for the I40 league A tournament & The B team travels to SFDA (Flagstaff) on Saturday ( April 27th) for the I40 league B tournament . Brackets are not available at this time. GOOD LUCk. Thanks to Zaydn, Mahlee and Tyler for line judging.
The sports award dinner for MSCheer, MSBoys basketball and MSG Volleyball will be held on May 9th.
HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS:
