Due to a full-day outage of internet and phone services on April 14, 2026, the District utilized a personal cell phone to provide call-in access for the board meeting. Following the adjournment, the administrative assistant believed the call had ended. A recording that has since circulated on social media captured a private conversation that occurred after the meeting had concluded.
This conversation was not part of the official board meeting. It reflects a private exchange made during travel home and is protected under First Amendment rights. It is not part of the official proceedings or decision making process of the Governing Board.
The words and sentiments on the recording do not reflect the beliefs, practices, or culture of the Seligman Unified School Governing Board. We do not condone nor approve the statements, nor do we believe that they were appropriate.

There are a few changes for getting your promo code from the Diamondbacks. Please see the directions below:
PROMO CODE HAS CHANGED:
Thank you for participating in the D-backs Attendance Matters program!
Unfortunately, the original promo code was found by ticket brokers, and we have been forced to change it. These brokers have been buying up as many tickets as possible and are attempting to resell them at a higher rate, which is clearly not the intention of this program.
New Process: email groupevents@dbacks.com for new code
We apologize for the extra step, but we will now require parents to email us individually to receive their promo code. Our website/ticket link will also be updated shortly with these instructions.
Parents should email groupevents@dbacks.com, and we will distribute promo codes from there. Each student will receive their own promo code.

NO SNOW, SNOW DAY
Monday, April 6, 2026 will be a NO SNOW, SNOW DAY! School will be CLOSED on Monday, April 6, 2026 for a snow day. As we have not needed any snow days so far this year, we will be using one of our available snow days on Monday. Enjoy the long weekend!
Upcoming Early Release Dates and Sports Bus Schedule
We have 3 early release days in March.
We will have early release on Thursday, March 12, 2026 for the end of 3rd quarter. We will also have early release on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, and Wednesday, March 25, 2026 for parent/teacher conferences. On early release days, students are dismissed at 1:30.
ON ALL THREE EARLY RELEASE DAYS - THE SPORTS/LATE BUS WILL RUN AT 5:15PM INSTEAD OF THE NORMAL 6:30PM TIME.
